When Gary Dell’Abate was gearing up to attend the Southside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Conn., over the weekend, he didn’t expect to brave the elements. “It was a great show but it rained all day,” he complained on Monday before recalling how he luckily brought a raincoat. “I had my hood up and it was just like getting spit on for like two to six hours.”
“You stood there in the rain and watched the concert?” Howard asked the Stern Show executive producer in disbelief. “You’re an older dude at this point, like it shouldn’t be that important to you.”
No matter how much Gary tried to explain that he was just trying to have some fun, Howard couldn’t get on board. “I don’t want to stand in my raincoat and watch anybody,” he insisted to his staffer. “Can you post your schedule? I want to know what you’re busy with.”
“His schedule, just remember, is rain or shine,” co-host Robin Quivers added with a laugh.
