A Real Paint in the Ass
Gary commented that he had another run-in Friday with Riche, KROCK’s chief engineer, who insisted that the studio needed to be repainted. When Gary informed Richie that Howard doesn’t like chemicals in the studio, Richie responded that Tom Chiusano gave him the order to paint and that was what he was going to do. However,
Gary reported that the smell of the fumes got so bad during the job that people in the building made the painters stop.
Howard pointed out that the only reason Richie claimed they had to paint on Friday was because Howard is leaving and people are taking advantage of the situation. Howard then warned that if anyone painted in his studio again, he would call in sick for the rest of the week so as not to be exposed to the chemicals. Howard went on to say that, despite everything that has happened between him and the station, he hasn’t played games with anyone and has done his job every day. He added that if Richie was really interested in cleaning up the place, he should’ve started with the bathrooms and green room, which Howard noted were gross.
