Howard brought up that he’s in the process of rerecording more of his old bits, and went on to say that he hopes to approach Viacom execs sometime in the future to see if they’d be willing to make a deal to sell him his archives. Howard noted that, although he had a good relationship with his bosses at Viacom, he figured that much of the hostility he was facing in regard to the archives was because they wanted to prove a point to him. However, Howard again insisted that, because of the FCC, he was going to leave regular radio once his contract expired and his move to SIRIUS was not a shot at his former employers.
