George Claims BIll Shatner Not Hospitable at Conventions

George discussed the next Star Trek convention he would be attending in a couple days, mentioning William Shatner received more money to appear at such an event than any other of the show’s stars.

George reported that he’d heard Bill got $30,000 just for showing up at each convention, a figure he added didn’t include the money he charged for each autograph. George then noted that while he took the time to talk to the fans at the conventions, both William and Leonard Nimoy had very little interaction with them, rarely looking up from the table.
