Howard remarked that he enjoyed the Paul Simon special on PBS, but the rest of the crew missed it. Howard said the Library of Congress was giving Paul the very first George Gershwin Award, and Bob Costas gave a particularly eloquent speech, in fact, the only person Howard thought could be more eloquent was Lonnie from Scores. Artie noted that he once met Paul Simon at an SNL after-party, and Paul was “oddly small,” almost like a midget. Sour Shoes then called up as Paul Simon, and played a few songs for the crew.
