Howard Is the King of LA

Howard started off the show saying he felt like the King of LA over the weekend–at one point, he was even swarmed by West Coast fans “like the Beatles or something.”

Howard said he enjoyed his trip so much, he’s considering a permanent move: “Ashley’s getting close to going to college. She’s got another year and then I’m out of here. That’s it. I’m going somewhere.”

Howard said he spent a lot of time at the pool of the Beverly Hills hotel they stayed at, but was bummed out by his fellow sun-bathers’ tendency to take his picture: “They do this weird move. They take their cellphones and they pretend they’re looking at their stuff on their phone. But I see they’re snapping my picture. And then I start to think, ‘Well maybe I’m making that up.’ But I’m not. I know I’m not.”
