Howard’s Chess Pow-Wow

Howard said he stopped by a meeting that SiriusXM executive Scott Greenstein was having yesterday with three of the world’s greatest chess players: Garry Kasparov, Magnus Carlsen and Anotoli Karpov.

Howard enjoyed meeting the grandmasters but was let down by the conversation: “I didn’t understand what the they were up to…I wanted to talk about chess and they wanted to talk about anything but chess.”

Howard said a lot of the conversation went over his head: “These guys are so brilliant, they could look at a piece of paper that chronicles a chess game and see the whole game in their head.”

Howard hoped that Scott puts together a chess show hosted by the three superstars–if for no one else other than just him: “It would just be exciting for me to see those guys walking around.”
