Toward the end of the show, Howard heard that Gary and Ross Zapin were arguing in Gary’s office and demanded an explanation.

Gary apologized: “It’s an ad sales situation. I’m sorry.”

Howard told Ross–again–to conduct ad sales business after the show was over: “Do it on Gary’s free time!”

Gary later explained that the argument was over a potential sponsor’s ad buy:

“Ross and I are just discussing who’s responsible for what aspects of everything. Ross and I are on the same page but we’re just not communicating…we’re sort of saying the same thing but we’re not hearing each other.”
