Howard revealed that George had approached him after yesterday’s show and asked him to [quoting George] “speak about me and my involvement with the show” for a documentary about George’s life: “I feel like I almost have to do it or something.”

George insisted he wasn’t trying to force Howard to do anything, but Robin stopped him, saying he was applying pressure: “That’s why you did the personal appeal.”

Howard told George to have the documentarian contact his agent: “Please have her call Don. I’m serious. How do I turn down a man who has the feet of a clam?”

Howard added his motivation later: “Please. Please have her call Don–so nothing can come of it.”
