Osama Bin Laden’s Death: David Arquette Was There

David Arquette called in to explain how he was at the White House within an hour of the announcement of Osama bin Laden’s death–David was on his way to D.C. from the Sweet Life Festival in Maryland: “We’d just seen The Strokes. And then we get this text about Osama bin Laden being killed.” David said he was staying just four blocks away from the White House and decided to walk over to the historic gathering: “There were only like 20 people when we showed up, and then the news crews came and then everybody poured in there. There were like ten thousand people by the time we left.”
