Howard referenced David’s infamous reputation as a cocksman, but David claimed he’d put that lifestyle behind him: “I date here and there but it’s quieted down the last couple years…my friends are all married, so I just go to dinner–if I go to dinner–and then we don’t go out afterward. We just have a drink at dinner and go home and crash.”

Robin asked if David liked being a father (to Harper, his daughter with Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace), and David deadpanned: “Sure.”

David then answered seriously: “No, it’s getting more and more interesting because the girl is, you know, more of a personality all the time and knows me and knows things and starts to talk and that’s really fun. I’m trying. It was, obviously, an interesting situation that kind of came out of nowhere. But you get dealt what you’re dealt and I’m not a bad person. I’m trying to navigate through it the best way possible. But it is awkward. You know. It’s getting smoother and smoother.”

Harper Is Already A Handful

David laughed that his daughter is growing up fast. Even though she’s only 3 years old, she’s somehow become aware of his fame–and its spoils. During a recent trip to an amusement park, Harper turned to her mother and complained: “She said, ‘Where’s Daddy? I don’t want to wait in these lines.’ How does she know or is even cognizant that I get to skip the lines?”
