Imagine Dragons Perform ‘Radioactive’ Live in Their Stern Show Debut

Imagine Dragons made their Stern Show debut and performed not just one, but two songs.

But first, the band told Howard about the deal they struck to turn a house in a rough Las Vegas neighborhood into a recording studio — hear the story (below).

While “Radioactive” eventually became an enormous hit for them, Dan Reynolds and Ben McKee recalled they were told the song was way too heavy for Top 40 and wouldn’t be a hit.
