Howard at ‘The Wedding’

When you first read that Howard attended Jennifer Aniston’s wedding, you might have assumed that Robin’s cat, Jennifer Aniston, had gotten married. Not so! The cat remains single, but the real Jennifer Aniston—star of the smash hit TV show “Friends”—married the great Justin Theroux last week and Howard and Beth joined in the festivities.

Howard had a great time (as great a time as Howard can have surrounded by a lot of people 3,000 miles away from his house).

Longtime friend of the show (and friend of Howard’s) Jimmy Kimmel officiated the wedding.

Howard, as you might know, is a tall guy—6’5″, so the small cushions that Jen and Justin had their guests sit on were not so comfortable for him. Even so, he made a speech to toast the newlyweds (where he opened by, you guessed it, complaining about the seats).

As many A-listers now do, Jen and Justin made their guests surrender their cell phones, which also upset Howard.

Still, he seemed to enjoy the experience—even chatting it up with a handsome man. “So this really handsome guy is sitting next to me at the table,” Howard recalled. “This fucking guy. He’s like better-looking than Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, and Tom Cruise all rolled into one. So I’m sitting and talking to this guy — interesting dude. We’re hitting it off and talking for a long time. I said, ‘What is your name?’ He says, ‘Orlando.’” That’s right, it was Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom!
