Howard Reflects on the Season 20 ‘Bachelor’ Finale

While Howard has been a longtime fan of “The Bachelor,” he wasn’t totally onboard with the decision this Season 20’s bachelor, Ben Higgins, made in the finale.

“This guy picked a girl I could never be with in a million years,” Howard told Robin. The reason? Fiancée Lauren Bushnell’s vocal fry.

Bushnell, he explained, seems like a lovely woman, but she fell victim to the speech pattern that is becoming all to common amongst females. It’s like they become “full-frog,” Howard quipped, imitating the gravelly delivery.

Robin’s voice, meanwhile, hasn’t changed in the last 35 years. “She sounds the same as when I first met her,” Howard praised.
