Brent Hatley gets his pubes waxed and Jason Ellis returns to sit down with Howard
Good Morning Everybody!
Over the weekend rock legend Leon Russell passed away at 74 – both Howard and Robin paid their respects to his legacy Monday morning.
Robin, in fact, remembered meeting Russell at one point when he played a charity concert she put on years ago.
Howard played through some of his favorite tunes in memory of Leon, including “A Song for You,” “Tightrope,” “Masquerade,” and his cover of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” on “The Concert for Bangladesh” album with George Harrison.
“He wrote a lot of hits,” Howard noted as he went through the impressive catalog of songs.
As the Leon Russell memories continued, Brent Hatley’s waxing table was also getting set up and Howard told listeners that he was going to get a full-on “gynecological view” when the Stern Show staffer paid up on his election bet with Memet Walker later in the morning.
