Steve From Florida Reports From Spooky Empire as Ban Is Lifted

Tuesday morning’s Stern Show marked the end of Steve from Florida’s two-week show ban which resulted from his near-failing essay grade back on Dec. 14.

“I’ve been taking my punishment, you would say Howard, like a man,” Steve said before launching into how difficult the name change portion of his sentence has been. “I’m hoping there will be a light at the end of the tunnel at some point to win back my name,” the caller formerly known as “Bobo” continued.

Moreover, in anticipation of winning back the “Bobo” name, Steve physically mailed a letter appealing to Twitter—after failing to figure out how to utilize the online form—that they verify his handle in order to funnel all of the “Bobo” fans to his account, as opposed to the imposters’ accounts that had risen up since the name change took effect. “Like I said, you can’t fix stupid,” an angry Steve fumed.

In honor of his return to the show, Howard revealed that before the ban, Steve—or at that time Bobo—went to a convention called Spooky Empire in an attempt to prove that he could offer interesting material for the show. Seasoned Stern Show correspondent Wolfie accompanied him to the event to report on Steve’s interviews.

“Spoiler alert: he failed miserably,” Howard said.

Despite landing interviews with top names at the convention, Steve was unable to capitalize on the month he spent researching for the big day.

Upon getting a few moments with actress Danielle Harris from the “Halloween” film franchise, Steve proceeded to ask her the same question two times in a row.

“She was so annoyed with him,” Wolfie told Howard, explaining that she had a line of people waiting to pay money for her picture and Steve was asking these stupid questions.

Later, in an interview with wrestling legend Ric Flair, Steve took mere seconds to turn things hostile with a question about the use of blood caps in the business.

“If he wasn’t sitting behind a desk, he would’ve killed Bobo,” Wolfie recounted.

Other interviewees included Butch Patrick from “The Munsters” and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.
