Howard announced that nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow would be stopping by later in the show and that he was really excited namely because “her new album is really good.”

The album, “Be Myself,” is out April 21 and as a treat for Stern Show fans is available for $4.99 with the code “STERN” on Sheryl’s website here.

In other music news, Howard has been following the photographic developments coming out of Coachella and found it mindboggling. “It’s become a fashion show and … I don’t understand it,” he said. Howard even consulted with noted Coachella expert (and critic) David Spade, who he said agreed.

The photos even brought back memories of rejection from his high school days of dating and female doppelgangers of Benjy Bronk.​
