Good Morning Everybody!

Last week, Kelly Clarkson made her Stern Show debut gracing fans with a performance that included some of her biggest hits—but one missing audience member weighed heavy on the hearts of Wack Pack fans everywhere.

“It bummed me out that Eric the Actor wasn’t alive to hear Kelly Clarkson in here,” Howard noted on Monday.

The Wack Packer was an avid “American Idol” fan and a major proponent of Clarkson during her stint on the reality competition series as Howard discovered in Eric’s first call to the Stern Show just over 15 years ago (below).

“My driver said it brought a tear to his eyes. He was listening and he cried because Eric wasn’t around,” Robin echoed.

Tragically, Eric passed away in 2014 before getting a chance to hear Kelly in studio with Howard.

Stern Show superfan Daniel Mendelson also recorded a new song for the late Wack Packer, a parody of David Bowie’s hit “Life on Mars?”. Take a listen in the audio clip (below).
