“The show is going all puppet,” Robin laughed after hearing the news.
“Yeah, we’re going all puppet; we won’t even have to show up at some
point,” Howard responded before unveiling them.
Though he plans to put them to greater use next week, Howard
gave the two puppets a “little tryout” on Wednesday, manning the JD puppet
himself and handing over the Ronnie puppet to Fred Norris, so they
could reenact a back-office squabble the two staffers apparently had earlier.
“Oh, that’s hysterical … I love it,” Robin said after seeing the Ronnie puppet, remarking that his two-toned hair looks just like the real-life limo driver’s.
