VIDEO: Shuli Egar Body Slams Brent Hatley’s Credibility as a Swinger During a Major Wrestling Event
“He’s trying to now hurt me personally and professionally,” Brent tells Howard on Tuesday’s Stern Show
Shuli Egar took Brent Hatley to the mat once again on Tuesday, after publicly questioning his back-office colleague’s credibility as a swinger on Saturday at a high-profile wrestling event.
There’s been tension between the staffers since Shuli called out Brent for talking about swinging despite never having “swung” with his wife Katelyn, and the rivalry intensified last week after Brent shared a story about getting intimate with another couple and Shuli called into question the veracity of his claims. On Tuesday’s Stern Show, Howard brought both men in the studio to unpack their saga’s latest twist which involved a “Brent’s Lying” sign at Madison Square Garden’s “Ring of Honor.”
“I made a quick sign in the hopes that I would get on camera and it worked,” Shuli explained.
“It’s a pretty fucked up thing to do, to be honest with you,” Brent responded, adding, “In wrestling, that’s called ‘cheap heat.’”
Shuli promised he’d stop calling Brent a liar if the staffer would simply admit their on-air arguments helped pave the way for him and his wife’s real-life swinging, but Brent wouldn’t bite. “He’s trying to now hurt me personally and professionally,” Brent continued.
With no indication they’ll put their differences aside any time soon, Howard wondered comes next. “Are you going to be making other signs at other events?” he asked Shuli.
“I don’t think so,” Shuli responded. “The mood just struck me at the moment.”
