Howard had another jam-packed afternoon after Monday’s Stern Show. He ran through his schedule for Robin Quivers once on the air Tuesday morning, telling her he had a bunch of work meetings to attend followed by a check-up appointment with his dermatologist. And throughout the entire day, he had a song stuck in his head but couldn’t think of who actually sang it.

“Fred you could probably help me out. I’ll sing it for you,” Howard said before humming a few notes.

It wasn’t Fred Norris who was able to identify what the song was, though. Executive producer Gary Dell’Abate guessed the song was Harry Nilsson’s “Jump Into the Fire” just a few seconds after Howard started humming.

“He’s right – Harry Nilsson. Good one, Gary,” Howard replied.

“That’s, like, the last scene in ‘Goodfellas’ where the helicopter is chasing him,” Gary said. Check out the memorable movie moment in the video (above).

The only person who might’ve possibly been able to guess Howard’s song faster is “Revenge of the Nerds” actor Curtis Armstrong, who came on the Stern Show in 2013 and proved how big of a Harry Nilsson fan he was by correctly identifying several of the musician’s songs after only hearing one second of the track.
