VIDEO: Gary Dell’Abate Once Walked in on His Parents Having Sex

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos confessed this week that their 18-year-old daughter Lola walked in on them having sex on Father’s Day creating a truly awkward experience for the famous family. On Tuesday’s Stern Show, Gary Dell’Abate told Howard he can sympathize with Lola since he too once walked in on his parents making love when he was 23.

“It was awful. It was fucking awful,” Gary said in disgust.

He recalled going out that night but having to run back to his house to grab something he forgot. And while he wasn’t gone long, it was enough time for his parents to get in the mood.

“It didn’t even dawn on me that they’d be having sex,” Gary continued. “I just opened the door right up and the covers were on them but there were candles lit all around the room and my father was on top of my mother. It was fucking traumatizing.”

A stunned young Gary backed out of the room in shock from what he’d just seen. His dad then came out to talk to him.

“My father comes out, in his underwear, smoking a cigarette, and he goes, ‘You know, this is very embarrassing for all of us.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah dad. Please stop talking.’ And then there’s a long pause. He goes, ‘What’d you think we were dead?’” Gary remembered.

Gary’s reaction is a far cry from the one Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund had when he discovered his parents having a threesome when he was a teenager – he admitted catching them in that act actually turned him on.

“I couldn’t even breathe,” Gary said of his own experience. “There was nothing sexual about what I saw.”
