Stern Show staffer gives Howard all the details about a recent barbecue he attended
After hearing a story about JD Harmeyer’s sipping on some rosé at a recent barbecue, Howard brought his staffer into the studio on Wednesday to ask him a few questions about his wine drinking habits.
“You like the rosé?” Howard wondered.
“Uh, yeah, it was good … It’s a nice wine to have on a sunny day, a sunny night, whatever,” JD replied before further describing its taste as “smooth.”
He also discussed his glass-holding etiquette and why he and his new wife brought matching his-and-hers wine glasses with them. Robin, for her part, was struck by how much JD had evolved since becoming a Stern Show employee. “Did you ever dream JD would be showing up at a party with his own glasses?” she asked Howard.
“I never thought that would happen,” Howard responded. “When I met this guy, he barely wore shoes.”
JD didn’t argue with his boss. “I’m sure my hygiene wasn’t as good then. Whatever. You live and learn—usually you learn through embarrassment on this show,” he concluded.
